Barracuda fishing trip
Only within 1-3 days of the full moon
We leave the pier around 7 or 8 p.m. In addition, trolling either up the coast to the ixtapa area or south to the white rocks off Barra de Potosi. To target barracuda we troll specially rigged strip baits of Spanish mackerel close to the rock outcrops and small islands using the moonlight to navigate by sight. it is cool at night and the sound of crashing surf against the rocks coupled with the screaming fast strike of a 30 lb. bara makes this trip one to remember.
- We finish the trip around 1:00 am or earlier if requested. Duration of trip approx. 5 hours.
- Price $210 USD (1 to 4 persons), for the boat, bait and all tackle.
- Not including tip for the captain.
Clients should bring their own food and beverages of choice. Do not forget your sweater or jacket.
For advance reservations we require a 30% deposit, which is fully refundable if cancellations are received at least 2 days prior to the reservation.
