Rooster fishing
Leaving the pier at 6:30, we will cruise some 20 Milles from the bay in either a north or south direction along the coast to the best rooster fishing grounds. Normally we will be fishing on the backside of the breaking waves, and casting toward the beach using spinning gear. At the same time, we will be slow trolling two live baits.
We certainly can accommodate fly angler but do not provide any fly fishing tackle.
Primarily we are searching for the roosterfish, but we can also have action with crevalle jack, needlefish, Spanish mackerel, bonitos, and skipjack.
- We get back to the pier around 2 p.m.
- Duration of trip approx. 7 hours. (1 to 3 persons).
- Price $250 USD for the boat, bait and all tackle.
- Tip for captain not included.
Clients should bring their own food and beverages of choice. Although the hard top on our boats provides some shade, do not forget your sunglasses, hat and sunscreen.
For advance reservations we require a 30% deposit, which is fully refundable if cancellations are received at least 2 days prior to the reservation.
