Inshore small game fishing
We troll 3-4 rods and supply spinning outfits for casting to sighted schools and fish holding structure. We are targeting the crevalle jack, Spanish mackerel, Mexican bonito, black skipjack, and needlefish. Occasionally we will pick up a grouper, African pompano, or rainbow runner. The average weight of these fish varies from 8-15+ pounds. Most of the fish are good eating, but what you do not want to keep we will release.
We will be fishing within a few miles of the coast, perhaps out to 5 or 6 miles if we start chasing fast moving schools of black skipjack.
We like to leave the municipal pier by 7 am and return around 1:00 pm. of course times can be adjusted based on client’s preferences
- We provide Fishing tackle and lures.
- Price is $200 USD for the boat for the boat, bait and all tackle.
- Not including tip for the captain.
- Duration of trip approx. 7 hours.
We can accommodate up one to five persons but this fishing trip is most enjoyable if there are 2-3 anglers.
Clients should bring their own food and beverages of choice. Although the hard top on our boats provides some shade, do not forget your sunglasses, hat and sunscreen.
For advance reservations we require a 30% deposit, which is fully refundable if cancellations are received at least 2 days prior to the reservation.
